I am excited to begin my 22nd year of teaching at Hale. I have a strong passion for my craft and enjoy coming to school each day!  It is beautiful to see students experiencing the growth of dendrites within their incredible brains. On a daily basis, I truly feel honored and humbled to be given the gift of involvement in my students' lives. 

 

I grew up in the SFV and have attended our local schools including Justice Street Elementary, Columbus Junior High and El Camino High School.  I obtained my degree and credential from CSUN.  I am the proud mother of two great sons and have the most incredibly supportive and kind husband. Life is great!  I enjoy being outdoors in nature.  My hobbies include mountain and gravel biking, trail running, backpacking, hiking, exploring our National Parks and the great outdoors, and gardening.  I guess I would consider myself to be happiest when I am moving around outside.
