How To Prepare for School
The first day of school is Monday, August 14th.
Due to changes by the district, our Bell Schedule is being updated and will be posted soon. School will begin at 8:00 am. Plan to arrive no later than 7:55. To avoid the heaviest traffic, arrive earlier.
You can find student class schedules on the Parent Portal. If you don’t have access, students should come to lunch area on the first day, where all student first period classes will be posted.
Faculty and staff will also be at every gate to help students find their classrooms.
When you arrive at school, turn off and store your phones in your backpack. Phones are not allowed during the school day. If a student needs to contact a parent during the school day, they should come to an office for assistance.
Above all else, drive carefully, and keep our students safe!
TEXTBOOKS
Student textbooks will be issued during the first week of school.
CHROMEBOOKS
If you do not have a Chromebook, submit a request at https://device.lausd.net.
TRANSPORTATION
For families in our magnet or special education programs who are wondering about transportation eligibility, the district sent home letters to parents with information about routes and pickup times this week. If you did not receive a letter, you can find this information on the parent portal. Look for the school bus icon.
