Welcome to 6th Grade World History: The Ancient World. During this year we will be covering many aspects of social studies, history, and geography. The 6th grade curriculum is exciting and challenging. Students will have the opportunity to develop critical thinking skills and demonstrate their understanding of the material through open-book tests, quizzes, reports and/ or projects through group and independent study. The core curriculum will be presented with an emphasis on authentic knowledge through comprehension, organization, and writing skills.
