Math /SCOPE Enrichment activity criteria:
1. Grow an edible plant from seed.
2. Record the height of your plant once per week after it sprouts in a table of values
3. Photograph or draw your plant each week as you record the growth data
4. After collecting a minimum of 5 weeks of data, write and solve proportions to find the percent of change (growth) each week.
5. Create a line graph using the data from your table.
6. Write a narrative paragraph describing your experience. Include what you found interesting or enjoyed, and what you would do to improve next time and what you learned from the experience (and anything else you would like to share).
